Morocco

To escape another New England winter, I headed to Morocco in March of 2026 and spent a month exploring. From the ancient medinas of Marrakech and Fes, to the beaches in Essaouira, and across the Atlas Mountains into the Sahara desert, I covered a lot of ground in this country.

Morocco is a place that really started to resonate with me after I left. The memories of rooftop dinners in the medinas, waking to the sound of the morning call to prayer, and the warmth of Moroccan hospitality flooded my memory when I got home. Never an easy place to travel, it was proof to me that the most worthwhile adventures often come with the sacrifice of comfort.
