This past November, I had the honor of photographing Eric and Talia’s Boston MIT Wedding on a beautiful fall day. This was my only Boston-area wedding of 2023 and I enjoyed the change of scenery from what was otherwise a year filled with many beachfront and mountain/rural wedding days throughout the northeast. What I loved most about E & T’s wedding celebration was their effortless blending of tradition and their personal styles and life together (and how could I not mention the beautiful fall color palette in their florals and outfits?!)
E & T first met at MIT and we walked the campus at the perfect time to catch golden hour in a few places of special importance to them. We took some photos on the Longfellow Bridge and then made our way back to the MIT Chapel where their family was waiting.
After the Tisch and Ketubah signing inside the MIT chapel, a ceremony followed at Arts at the Armory in Somerville. I loved all of the little Boston and MIT details they wove throughout their day—especially the table markers named after different MBTA stops. What followed after the ceremony was one of the most beautiful receptions complete with a Klezmer band, performances from family, and a bustling dance floor.
Special thanks to Samantha and the whole Kaleidoscope Events team for orchestrating such a perfect day.
